I'm currently working as an engineering intern at Matimba Power Station, I am the responsible system engineer in charge of the water treatment plant and outside plant control and instrumentation.

The work experience done at Eskom consisted mainly of shadowing the other engineers and learning about the various plant systems, learning about how they work and also what work is being done on each system.
I was also given projects to do during each vacation work period which included designing a cable theft detection system and upgrading the public security system.

Have been a computer enthusiest since my youth and have experience with almost all aspects of consumer personal computers including networking, security, programming, hardware and web design. I always try to stay up to date with the latest computer technologies and am always striving to learn more.
I have done progamming in a number of languages but I am most proficient in C/C++, Java, VHDL and Matlab. Additionaly I have experiance with PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen Bradley and Hartman & Braun).
